All Dressed Up

Well, today has been really busy, but nothing too awful. Still, I'm really tired right now. After dinner, my mom and I went over to a pretty small mall to look for dresses, and I actually found something with some serious potential. And, its only $160. I'm rather frustrated because right now I can't seem to find a picture of it online, but hopefully I'll be able to rectify that. The dress is really a lot of what I would have told you I didn't want: its a halter top with a pretty simply shaped skirt, but I really like it. Also, I was in it before I finally realized: This dress is so Amy Lee. Except...part of it has polka dots, but otherwise it is. Its red and generally really pretty and I'm not going to bother with any other description. But its nice to have some hope, since that other dress, as dreamy as it would, would have been a big bother. I'm not sure I'm getting this one, because I want to look other places, but its a good contender.
Yesterday, I finally did go to Borders, which was lovely a refreshing. I bought this gorgeous journal, its very B. Waldorf. I can't seem to find it either, but its black and white with a very classy old-Hollywood esque flowery pattern. I've been getting addicted already, although I definitely need some nice pens if I'm going to keep this up. When I first started writing yesterday, I was afraid that I really couldn't handle meaningful journaling, but last night I wrote again and it was good. Apparently, I get more philosophical as the day goes on.
So I think I'll go do that soon. Yesterday I also bought a review book for Calc. I was thinking about it, and realistically, the exam is only two months and few days away, so its not too early to dabble in it. On an SO note, we had a good turnout today, but Eda is still being very bothersome. But both Meng and Yuxi came which was lovely. Meng and I even bonded a little (I think). Even if it was bonding through argument. I think Percy (our Remote Sensing binder) is doing really well. I think I am going to be heartbroken if we don't medal in this. I continue to avoid reading Cabeza de Vaca, which is bad because I'm running out of days to do so. Especially if I want to read Revelation as soon as it comes out. Christine seems to be making great progress with Bloodlines. Hopefully she'll be into Tempest soon, which should really pique her interest. Its going to be hard reading Revelation totally tight lipped, but I'll just have to deal.
